TEAGOODTEA was born from a simple question: In a world of endless acceleration, how do we return to presence?

The answer, we discovered, has been steeping for thousands of years.

We are not a tea company. We are custodians of an ancient practice that transforms the mundane into the sacred. Every cup is an invitation, to pause, to breathe, to remember what it means to be fully here.

Founded by Man Hua, a former investment analyst who traded the noise of capital for the silence of the tea room, TEAGOODTEA bridges East and West, tradition and modernity, commerce and contemplation. Drawing from years of study in Buddhist philosophy, tea ceremony, and the art of mindful living, we curate not just tea, but experiences that nourish body, mind, and spirit.

Our teas are sourced from artisan farmers who understand that great tea is grown not just in soil, but in patience. Our teaware is selected for its ability to elevate ritual into art. About Me

Man Hua. 

A woman named Man, not despite being a woman, but because names, like tea, shouldn't be bound by expectations.

"Man" carries strength, ambition, the language of capital I once spoke fluently. "Hua" holds beauty, poetry, the Eastern soul I never lost. Together, they represent what TEAGOODTEA stands for: the integration of seeming opposites.

I am from Guangxi, China, where mountains rise from mist like ink paintings, where "Guilin's landscape ranks first under heaven." I grew up surrounded by the world's finest jasmine blossoms, walking through fields where 80% of the globe's jasmine is born. Tea and flowers are not exotic to me. They are the scent of home.

I learned to read terroir before I learned to read markets—the volcanic soil of Fujian's cliffs, the ancient forests of Yunnan, the jasmine fields of Hengxian. This isn't imported knowledge. This is my heritage, my language, my unfair advantage.

Yet I also learned to speak West, the language of capital, of building brands that bridge worlds. Now I bring China's tea culture to those ready to listen, translating centuries of wisdom into contemporary ritual.

Force and flow. Ambition and stillness. East and West.

In tea, we call this balance. I call it being whole.
