These Terms of Use, together with our Privacy Policy and Shopify's Terms of Service, govern your use of the Site.

BY USING THIS SITE, YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS OF USE. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT USE THE SITE.

TEAGOODTEA reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. Your continued use of the Site constitutes your agreement to the then-current Terms of Use. As long as you comply with these Terms, TEAGOODTEA grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited privilege to access and use the Site.

Terms of Sale

By placing an order, you are offering to purchase a product subject to the following terms. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of price. Items will be shipped upon receipt of full payment, including product cost, shipping fees, and any applicable taxes.

TEAGOODTEA reserves the right to refuse any order. You will be notified by email when your order is received and confirmed.

Payment

All payments are processed by Shopify, a third-party payment service provider, and are subject to their Terms of Service. We do not accept checks. Your order will be shipped upon successful processing of your payment.

Shipping, Title & Risk of Loss

Shipping times are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays or circumstances beyond our control. Unless otherwise specified, title to and risk of loss of products passes to the buyer upon delivery by TEAGOODTEA to the shipping carrier.

You agree to comply with all applicable export laws and regulations with respect to products purchased from this Site.

Inspection & Claims

Please inspect your order promptly upon receipt. If there is any issue with your order — including quantity, quality, or product defects — you must notify us within 5 days of delivery. Failure to do so constitutes a waiver of any claim with respect to that shipment.

Return Policy

We are committed to quality. If a product arrives defective or incorrect, we will replace it or issue a refund, provided you follow the process below:

  • Contact us first to obtain written permission to return the item.
  • Returns must be shipped within 30 days of receiving our approval.
  • All return shipments must include a copy of the original receipt and a description of the issue.
  • Returns must be shipped via a trackable carrier with copies of the original invoice.

Please note: we cannot accept returns on loose-leaf or bulk tea purchases once the original heat-sealed packaging has been opened, nor for reasons of personal taste preference. We strongly encourage you to order a small quantity of any new tea before committing to a larger purchase.

Warranties

TEAGOODTEA PROVIDES THIS SITE AND ALL PRODUCTS ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TEAGOODTEA EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL TEAGOODTEA BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THIS SITE OR ANY PRODUCTS PURCHASED THROUGH IT. IN ANY CASE, TEAGOODTEA'S MAXIMUM LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PrismPronoia LLC and its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of this Site or your breach of these Terms of Use.

Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of the State of Delaware.

Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
