Dark Tea
Dark tea is the slow one. Post-fermented, aged in controlled conditions, built for time.
Unlike green or white teas that peak at harvest, dark tea improves in storage. The fermentation continues after processing — softening the edges, deepening the body, building complexity that younger teas simply don't have. What you drink today was already changing before it reached you.
China's dark tea tradition spans centuries and several distinct regional styles. We carry Liu Bao from Wuzhou, Guangxi — aged in our intangible heritage workshop in traditional bamboo baskets, to national standard. Rich, smooth, earthy, with a clean finish that settles the body as much as the mind.
Dark tea is for the drinker who wants depth. It is also for the collector who understands that good tea, stored well, is one of the few things that genuinely gets better with age.
