Damascus Rose Buds · Whole Flower, First Harvest
One bud. One cup. That's all it takes.
Drop a single Damascus rose bud into hot water and watch it slowly open -- petals unfurling, color blooming into the water, fragrance rising before you even lift the cup. This isn't tea blended with rose extract. It's the whole flower, doing exactly what it was grown to do.
What's in the cup
These are Damascus roses from the first harvest of the season -- the earliest buds, picked before the bloom fully opens, when fragrance is at its most concentrated. Only whole, intact flower crowns. No broken petals, no filler, no compromise on form.
What you see in the cup is what you get: a full rose bud, opened by water, releasing everything it has been holding since it was picked.
Tasting notes
— Fragrance: rich, true rose -- full and natural, not perfumed
— Liquor: soft pink to rose, warm and clear
— Sip: gently sweet, smooth, slightly floral on the finish
— One bud per cup is enough
Why first harvest
The first buds of the season carry the highest concentration of natural oils and fragrance. Later harvests are fine. First harvest is different -- more alive, more present. You can smell the difference before you brew it.
