Everything a good aged pu-erh carries, compressed into something the size of a sugar cube.

Drop one into hot water. Three seconds. The water turns amber, dark jujube and aged wood rise up, and what you have is the kind of cup that usually takes years of storage and a proper gongfu setup to arrive at. No rinse needed. No wait. No equipment beyond a cup and hot water.

This is pu-erh distilled to its essence.

What's in the cup

Pu-erh tea paste (茶膏) is made by slow-extracting aged pu-erh and concentrating it -- the soluble compounds, the fragrance, the aged character -- into a solid form. What gets left behind is the fiber. What remains is everything else.

The result brews instantly into a smooth, deep amber liquor with the characteristic aged pu-erh profile: jujube sweetness, layered earth, a finish that lingers long after the cup is empty. No astringency. No bitterness. Nothing to get past.

Good for

— Exhausted, no energy -- the full warmth of aged pu-erh in under a minute

— My digestion feels off -- aged pu-erh has a long traditional association with digestive comfort

— I can't focus -- deep and grounding without scatter

— Traveling, at the office, no time -- this goes anywhere and asks nothing of you

Every tea we sell can be traced to a hillside, a season, and a pair of hands.
