TEAGOODTEA｜Aged Silver Needle · 5-Year White Tea, Everyday Sip
TEAGOODTEA｜Aged Silver Needle · 5-Year White Tea, Everyday Sip
Five years does something to white tea that nothing else can.
The freshness fades. What develops in its place is softer, warmer, and more layered -- a sweetness that feels earned rather than immediate. This is Silver Needle that's been given time, at a price that makes it reasonable to drink every day.
Not a collector's piece. Just a genuinely good cup.
What's in the cup
Silver Needle (白毫银针) from Fuding, aged five years. The buds are still plump and intact, silver-white down visible throughout. What's changed is everything inside: the grassy freshness of new white tea has mellowed into something rounder, the body has filled out, and the finish now has a warmth that newer tea doesn't carry.
Pale gold in the cup, smooth from the first sip, no bitterness at any steep.
