What makes it special:
Made from 2016 wild Gong Mei (贡眉) white tea leaves, compressed into convenient cookie-sized mini cakes. The aging process brings out a layered sweetness that's naturally smooth with zero bitterness — a perfect healthier alternative to milk tea.
Tasting notes: The flavor unfolds beautifully — a fruity, clean sweetness up front with aged woody undertones that help you unwind. With longer steeping, the texture turns soft and glutinous, almost like sticky rice, with hints of red dates and longan.
Two ways to brew:
Quick brew (gongfu style): Pour boiling water directly over one mini cake in a cup or gaiwan. Steep 20–30 seconds and pour out. Adjust steeping time to your taste — shorter for lighter, longer for bolder. Multiple infusions encouraged.
Thermos steeping: Drop one mini cake into a thermos with hot water and let it sit for 20–30 minutes (or longer). This brings out a richer, more glutinous mouthfeel that's perfect for sipping throughout the day. One cake can brew up to 4 rounds in a 550ml thermos.
