Seven years changes a tea.
These pearls were hand-rolled in 2019 -- aged white tea wrapped with sun-dried tangerine peel, pressed into small balls, then left to mature. What comes out of the cup now is nothing like what it was when it went in: the white tea has softened and deepened, the tangerine peel has mellowed from sharp citrus into something warmer and rounder, and the two have spent years finding each other.
One pearl per cup. Drop it in, add water, watch it slowly come apart.
What's in the cup
Aged white tea (老白茶) is white tea that has been stored and allowed to transform over time. The fresh vegetal quality fades; what develops in its place is a deeper sweetness, a smoother body, and a warmth that newer white teas don't have.
The tangerine peel (陈皮) is from aged dried citrus -- a staple of traditional Chinese wellness practice, valued for its warming, settling qualities. Together they balance each other: the white tea is cooling by nature, the tangerine peel is warming. The result sits somewhere in the middle -- gentle, round, easy on the body at any time of day.

How to brew
Water temperature: 205–212°F (96–100°C) -- aged tea needs full heat
One pearl per 300–400ml
First steep: rinse briefly, discard
Steeps 1 onward: 30–45 seconds, extending each round
Also works as a long simmer: add a pearl to a small pot, simmer gently for 10 minutes. The tangerine peel comes forward more this way.

Every order is sourced fresh from its origin region after you buy, then packed and shipped by air. Please allow about 2 weeks for delivery anywhere in the US. You'll receive a tracking number as soon as your tea is on its way.
Return policy
Returns & Freshness
For food safety, opened tea cannot be returned. Unopened items may be returned within 14 days of delivery (return shipping paid by the customer). If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, email us a photo within 7 days and we'll send a replacement or a full refund, no return needed.
