Jinshan Rose Tea · Sichuan Plateau | Siguniang Mountain, 3000m Altitude
At 102.01°E, 31°N, tucked at the foot of Siguniang Mountain in Xiaojin County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, there is a valley that was once barren land. Today, 15,000 mu of certified organic roses bloom there.
This is Jinshan Rose Tea. Grown at an average altitude of 3,000 meters, irrigated year-round by glacial meltwater, with zero pesticides and zero chemical fertilizers. The extreme day-to-night temperature swings slow the flowers down, letting fragrance and nutrients accumulate petal by petal.
The harvest begins at 3:00 AM.
Before sunrise. Before the first light reaches the petals. This is intentional. Morning sunlight accelerates the volatilization of essential oil molecules. Picking in darkness preserves what the flower spent all season building: the deepest fragrance, the richest oil, intact.
Each bloom is then processed at low temperature to protect the aromatic compounds that heat would destroy, with no sulfur treatment at any stage. What reaches you is the flower at its most complete.
What you'll find in the cup:
One bloom per cup. Watch it open slowly in hot water. The fragrance rises full and unfiltered. The liquor is warm rose-amber, naturally sweet and softly floral, with no bitterness and no artificial aftertaste. Round, clean, alive.
