Osmanthus Black Tea · Autumn Warmth, Floral & Honey
Autumn has its own smell. This tea has it.
Osmanthus (桂花) blooms once a year, in exactly this season -- small golden flowers, a fragrance that's sweet without being heavy, familiar in a way that's hard to place. Blended with black tea, that fragrance carries into the cup and stays there: warm, quietly floral, the kind of thing you reach for when the temperature drops and something in you needs settling.
Not a complicated tea. Just the right one for right now.
What's in the cup
Black tea scented with dried osmanthus flowers -- visible in the dry leaf, present in every steep. The black tea base is smooth and naturally sweet. The osmanthus adds a honey-floral note that rounds the whole thing out.
The liquor is warm amber-gold. The fragrance rises before you lift the cup. What follows is gentle and unhurried.
