Wild Purple Buds · 2026 First Spring | Ancient Tree Yunnan Puerh
Not every tea looks like this.
These are wild purple buds, harvested from ancient, undomesticated tea trees in the first days of spring 2026. The purple coloration is natural, a signature of rare anthocyanin-rich cultivars growing in high-altitude wilderness, untouched and unhurried. Each bud is the tree's first word of the new season.
What you'll find in the cup:
Open the bag and the fragrance meets you first, wildflower-sweet, faintly resinous, alive. The liquor is soft and luminous. On the palate: a sweetness that feels less like sugar and more like atmosphere, like stepping into a forest after rain. Fresh, clean, lingering. The kind of sip that makes you pause.
This is what spring tastes like before it knows it's spring.
